History of CORRIDA

The cigar line Corrida, translating to "Bullfighting" in Spanish, was formed for the European Market within the Villiger Cigar Company in 2017. Corrida is most know for their two cigars: Corrida Honduras Robusto and Corrida Dominicana Robusto with the latter using well-aged Dominican tobaccos.

  • Ring Gauge: 56
  • Taste: Woody
  • Cigar length: 127 mm / 5'
  • Vitola: Robusto
  • Strength: Medium

The Corrida Dominican Republic Robusto is a mild cigar boasting a blend of long-matured Dominican tobaccos, wrapped in a double-fermented Ecuadorian wrapper. With a sturdy Besuki binder from Indonesia and Piloto and Olor tobaccos from the Dominican Republic in the filler, the cigar burns well and draws smoothly, and gives off a woody taste. The Colorado-colored, 5.51' inches long and 50 ring-gauge Robusto format is a perfect size for a 50 minute smoking session. Despite the name's association with bullfighting, the Corrida Dominican Republic Robusto offers a pleasant smoking experience that is anything but aggressive. It is an excellent choice for those seeking a mild and enjoyable cigar with great Dominican flavors.
