The first puff has a gentle, salty cheese note, along with a bit of milky taste and a slight tobacco flavor. After a few more puffs, it’s clear that this cigar has a strong creamy note. At this price point, the experience it offers is rather average for me. Personally, I would recommend getting a CAO sampler and trying out the different lines. With the seemingly endless variety of cigars coming from Nicaragua & Honduras, it is impossible to compare even a fraction of what is available. This CAO is beautifully made, smokes smooth as glass, fairly mild with a pleasant if generic flavor. Does not stand out from many other Robustos, it is a nice smoke for the price. I wish it had a little more punch, but it does not offend the palette, burns great & never gets hot or bitter.
