This isn’t your everyday OpusX. Viento d’Amor is the largest of the three cigars released in 2020 to mark Carlito Fuente’s bond with the Middle East — and it doesn’t hold back.
A 6x58 Dominican puro, built with top-tier leaf from Château de la Fuente. The wrapper has that signature reddish glow and the construction? Flawless. Dressed in multiple bands and a cedar sleeve, it’s got all the flair you’d expect.
Before lighting, you’ll pick up barnyard, cedar, walnut and a touch of honey. Once lit, it opens with a bold hit of spice, then mellows into cream, black pepper, earth and roasted nuts. There’s complexity here, but it flows — no fuss, no flash.
Expect a steady burn, rich smoke and a slow, rewarding hour and a half. It stays true to the OpusX DNA, but adds something a little deeper — like a warm breeze across the dunes.
Tough to find, worth the chase.
