This Lonsdale will please those of you who enjoy the stronger, harsher aspects of Havana’s cigars. I love to smoke the No. 1 after having eaten something sweet. Easy to light, even in the draw, this is a well constructed cigar. After a forest woody start, the No. 1 quickly enters into a spicy linear finish. A solid medium-full bodied cigar.

"My first box of No 1's, and I'm very impressed. (I'm also new to the format, and looking forward to trying more of this vitola). The cigar is constructed extremely well, and although I've only smoked three, they have been identical in draw, burn and taste, shape and feel. (they have a terrific feel in your hand) The flavor changes that I experienced throughout the sticks were quite widely varied, and I can't really make an educated statement on them yet, but the cigar are nice and strong, I didn't find them harsh, great cedar tastes before and after lighting, then it goes through some spiciness, rich and complex tobacco flavors, even some light floral notes were detected in the early parts of the smoke. This box was marked ARA-MAR.01, and I'm probasbly a little spoiled by the age of my first box, but I will order another soon, that's a fact. I recommend them to anyone that likes strong, full flavored smokes. Lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and a treat from start to finish. Thank you Richard, You really are the greatest!"
