Richard's Past experience:

Perhaps not the grandest of Lonsdales coming out of Havana, it is, however, totally reliable. The woody flavors progress in a very linear fashion. An Excellent draw and a very easy burn make this Montecristo appropriate for the novice smoker.

"I quite liked these cigars, but they are a little underwhelming on the whole. Nice construction and pretty good burn, although I have a couple of tight ones in my box. I would not go out of my way to buy these again, the competition is too harsh. If you are looking for a tasty Lonsdale then try the Partagas 898 Vanrished or a little more elegance and light flavours then a Raphael Gonzales would do the trick. The Monte is really neither one thing or the other."

"I hadn't smoked a No.1 in years and finally realized that perhaps I was in too much of hurry before. Excellent drawn and mild yet rich. Slow burner that is excel;lent for relaxing at golf or a all night poker game."

"This cigar was very strong on the woody flavors and that is a flavor I don't really care for, sorry. It did have excellent construction and draw. It did have a good aroma. Just not the complexity I want in a cigar."

"Light colored(brown-beige) wrapper. Oily. Consistent draw and taste. Mostly sweet flawours but rich and strong. Dont let it trick you it is strong smoke and long (1hour+)too. Very enjoyable and affordable.Smells and feels in your hand wonderfully."
