" Good is a great description of this cigar. Clear draw and even burn, and good flavor but nothing excellent or exceptional about it. Just a good cigar. I’m smoking it in my backyard while I work from home and its a good fit. The one I’m smoking is from the tenth habanos festival (I was not lucky enough to go but a friend passed it along for my graduation) so I guess it has at least 2 years of age. This is my tenth or so San Cristobol and all Have been good but not great. "

" Excellent draw and construction with a very even burn. The wrappers were very dark and oily which created a rich appearance. The experience began with a very smooth woodsy flavor and a delightful aroma. The finish was more complex with strong coffee and leather dominance. Overall I was pleased and would not hesitate to order more. Good recommendation Richard! "

" Draw: very good
Construction: very good
Aroma: light
Body: light
Flavor: 1st tried it in October 2006, at lighting, started with leathery/grassy taste with mild coffee flavors at the finish & very slight spicy undertones. Smoke felt dry. After 1/3 it was all grassy/leathery flavors. 2nd half continued with grassy/leathery flavors but with stronger spice finish (not my favorite flavor). Last 1/3 slightly improved into coffee flavors, with hints of sweetness but the leathery/grassy taste still continued to dominate.
Tried it again after 1 year in my humidor, October 2007, but did not feel much change. It started grassy with leathery taste & finish. Smoke was not as dry as I remember a year ago. But this time around I did neither detect spicy undertones, nor the coffee finish.
Overall Satisfaction: very good construction, but the flavor was one dimensional, could have been better, not my type of flavors. "

" This was a good cigar,but not a great one, burn and flavor,was average.But nothing special.As for the price it was a little high for what you get.Maybe some time in the humidor will turn this cigar around, but I was some what disappointed. "

" This was a good cigar. The taste was suprisingly sweet cigar. Almost like sweet potatoes. However, at the end of the smoke was challenging. I think it was a little too tightly rolled. All around great cigar. "

" This is truly an incredible cigar! Smooth, flavorable, with taste of cocoa, nutmeg and cinnamon flowing through. A nice, pleasant floral aroma. I just don't understand why this brand doesn't get more recognition for outstanding top quality cuban cigars. I've never been disappointed with any of these smokes. "
