TopCubans Past experience:Another modern cigar, which I find very easy to smoke due to its size. The fresh floral aspect makes La Punta different than any other Belicosos, but keeps perfectly in trend with the brand. Try it with a tannic red wine, either a French or, escape with a New World Wine ! |

David L On 2011-10-09 " I took one to the golf course with me and feel in love! I only had the cigar in myhumidorforamonthbut was curious to give it a try. wow. What a smooth but bodied flavored cigar. I had another on this morning with the same results! It goes great with a strong cup of good coffee! Great ash, good burn. I think I better get another box to age! "
Greg On 2011-04-04 " Excellent smoke, one of if not my favorite currently. Smooth, always consistent and a pleasure.
Champ On 2010-10-14 " this cigar is the real deal from start to finish, smooth and satisfying ,get`s better with age! money well spent "
Johnnycristo On 2010-07-17 " Absolutely delicious! A very satisfying smoke. "
Georg On 2010-04-10 " A well rolled cigar with a great draw. Starts out rather earthy, nearly ordinary, but with a suprisingly positive midway explosion into heral powers. Might improve a lot with aging. Ideal for outdoor smoking with it's rustic power. "
On 2008-04-19 " I think this is a fantastic cigar. Smooth, not too strong, great draw and subtle tastes. Top 3 for sure. "
Randy P. On 2007-12-22 " This is a great Habano. Enjoyable right to the end. "
Matt On 2006-11-23 " This was an absolutly beautiful habano. From the way the smoke danced off the foot of the cigar to the spicy finish at the end. I will definatly come back to purchase more of these fine habanos! "
Pianobill On 2006-09-24 " A cigar that is good now, but promises an even better future after it ages a year or more. A smooth, creamy beginning, with a little hint of green, building to a spicy finish. Pretty full bodied, in my opinion. The one I smoked was a little to tight, but was still functional without resorting to paper clips and such. The tobacco bespoke of good breeding, with a great variety of hinted flavors throughout the smoke. Don't burn your fingers on this one! "
LAWBREAKER On 2006-09-13 " STILL LOOKING FOR A NICE WOODY CIGAR-BUT THIS IS BETTER WITH SOME TIME IN THE BOX-RICHARD- COULD WE HAVE A SAMPLER WITH ALL THE WOODY CIGARS ?????
Snowman On 2006-08-16 " Let me start by saying this one needs some time in the old humidor. The El Principle to me you can smoke right out of the box no problem. This one needs a little aging I left it in there for one year and couldn't believe what a difference a year made. This Viotla became one of my favorites this is truly an awesome smoke. "
LAWBREAKER On 2006-07-22 " A NICE SMOKE BUT NOT A MONT#2 "
Robindurden On 2006-03-13 " i'm new to the san cristobal line and the la punta definitely has become my day-to-day cigar. it's not as complex or spicy as a mont no.2, but it is great for a nice casual smoke. i would definitely recommend this as your regular regiment. "
Elsid On 2005-04-03 " a most excellent smoke. people ask me if there is really a difference in a cuban smoke--maybe its a bit psychological too, but there is definitely a difference--for the better. "
Tuco On 2005-02-12 " great cigar for those new to the cuban taste "
Donque On 2005-02-08 " The smell such as sweetness to be surprised and high-level cosmetics has drifted when only the first passing in a light sharp taste. And, a steady to the last minute taste was able to be satisfied.
Dreamchaser On 2004-11-29 " This is a sleeper...smooth, with a bit of spice, great flavor, nice draw, creamy, nutty, some vanilla notes. Very enjoyable! "
Bigyesta On 2004-09-29 " Like cohiba has its own distinct flavor and aroma, so does the San Cristo line, flavors of raw chocolate, freshly ground coffee, aromas of vanilla and cinnamon dazzle the palete.
Dray33 On 2003-10-10 " WOW these are smoking great. someone suggested these to me, and i was sceptical to say the least. Wonderful cigar, every time. "
Benj On 2003-09-10 " "
AG On 2003-09-09 " Dr.G - Smoke is smooth, rich, and very flavorful when aged at least 6-8 months,... but not before! If you are an impatient type, you will be disappointed. This vitola is a perfect example of how (proper) aging can sometimes change a good cigar into an excellent cigar. "
Chesh On 2003-08-21 " This is indeed a nicely made cigar. Starts out quite mild, yet as it smokes it yields up smooth, somewhat sweet, nutty flavours with an exquisite finish that makes you want to take another puff. Great mild Habano. "
Cruiter On 2003-05-23 " I generally enjoy a stronger cigar but I had this one at midday and was pleasantly surprised. It had great consistency, smooth and creamy right to the very end. It was a great smoke. "
George On 2003-02-03 " An outstanding cigar.Nice oily wrap,perfect fit and finish,creamy smooth from first to last puff.My second batch(first 6 mos. ago)just as good.Closest to the ethereal 5.0 yet. " |
