Once again a cigar blessed with a good, consistent balance. More likely to charm the European aficionados with its lightness and sweetness not characteristic of Churchills, this Imperiales contains the mild toasted wood and herbal-floral tendencies displayed by your average Quai D’Orsay cigar. I think the Imperiales are the perfect beginner’s Churchill due to its light nature and lack of harshness.

"If a magic genie granted my desert island wish for a cab of cigars... this would be the one I would request. First half mild, sweet and buttery smooth with gentle spices noted. Second half develops a more medium body, adding fragrant herbal tones. Draw is consistently perfect throughout. Great in youth, I wonder what some age will bring out."
