" I have smoked many Don Alejandro’s, Unicos and a some Famosos and a few Familiar. They Alejandro has always been one of my favourites up there with Partagas Lusitanias and Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona.

A few weeks ago a friend of mine came back from Cuba with a good 100’s of the Vegas Robaina Clasicos, given to him as a gift directly at the factory. I smoked a few and it blew me away. So naturally I ordered a box with Richard and I have just finished the first one.

Fist of all, I think some of you are missing out on this cigar. The ones Richard sent me was from 2003!!! So he must have quite a few in stocks. And who am I to complain about cigars that have already been aging five years at the dealer before I get it? Right?

This cigar is: EXCELLENT!

And yes, why not. I rate it 5 for what it is: EXCELLENT!

This cigar is for men what chocolate is to women. No more, no less. Hurry up, because before long his Clasicos won’t be dated June 2003. Someone will have been smoking them and I will be one of them.

" Construction; Oily, holds ash a long way, even burn.
Taste: First third,light some spice somewhat sweet nice. Second third more body (med)more spice. Last third Hold on strong but med spice.
Over all I liked the first two thirds, didn't like last the last .
It needs time then it will be very good. Six month to a year. I'll buy another box. "
