Whereas most Torpedos are heavy in their fullness of flavor, I think the Sancho Belicoso manages to maintain a certain “approachability” for the palate whilst delivering the much sought after Sancho Panza tastes. Never aggressive, but always there, this is the perfect Belicoso to start with !

"My first box of Sancho Belicosos, and I wish I hadn't waited so long. earlier boxes of San Cristobal La Punta, Diplomaticos no 2 and even the venerable Monte 2 seem to pale in comparison. Fuller in flavor, yet smooth as can be, these have wrappers like slick, oily silk, the entire box the exact same rich, dark color. Constuction seems to be perfect, although I've now only smoked two out of the box, but a perfect two they were. A bit of wood, a lot of spice, and a lush draw that permits large mouthfuls of complex and rich smoke. I have found the belicoso for me. Thank you, Richard, as always you come through with winners. These are also a great bargain and are a sleeper as far as I'm concerned."
