The Especial always impresses by its sheer size and power, it is an feat of construction to marvel at ! This is an Emperor amongst cigars and is definitely for the experienced palate. The Monte A is true to the Montecristo ethos of full bodied aromas dominated by scents of earth and damp wood. The cigar gets more forceful through the second phase and then finishes in a rich and heady haze. I love to crack open these “Big, Big boys” when I have the guys round for poker and cigars, smoking one of these makes you feel like “the Don” !

"The A is a real king and you haven’t “arrived” as a Habanos smoker until trying one. Perfect draw and Monte taste throughout. Although it’s expensive, it’s not really more than a night of a couple cigars, but the layers you get from one huge cigar like this is a true marvel.
