| TopCubans Experience: First impression on the new Por Larrañaga Swiss Regional Production 2009's are very good. You will find the silky smoothness you expect from any Por Larrañaga, with hints of wood and dried fruit dominating but in a bigger and pointier smoke than we are used to from this family. The smoke is creamy and round and remains long on the palate. Like the Trinidad and Cohiba families, the Por Larrañaga cigars have a homely feeling which we find once again in this new cigar. The slight edginess will go with time and this will become a mild mannered, gentle cigar perfect for outdoor smoking. For the palate that enjoys taste above power. | |||||||||
