Rates the Cohíba Genios Maduro 5

" Hmm. I smoked one of these back when they first came out. I loved it then and would have given it (from memory) 4.5 at least. I just smoked another one which has somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.5 years of age and I was let down. I don't know what to make of this but maybe I need to wait a bit longer. The first 2/3 were flaaaaaat. the final 1/3 was great with deeper and more complex spicy and sweet flavors. Could it be that the filler tobaccos "mellowed out" more than the wrapper (given the significant pre-ageing of the wrapper) and thus threw it out of balance? I have a couple more and will wait to smoke them and will re-rate in a year or so. "

" In my opinion the best Cohiba and one of the best cigars out there. I would also like to add that if you are getting one of the maduro 5 just to try it, get this one! The taste has so many more dimentions in a big cigar and enjoyment is guaranteed! "

" Reminds me of some of the beautiful women one sees in Cuba. Dark, mysterious, sensual and beautifully built. These cigars tase truly wonderful. Creamy, with cocoa and spices. An even burn and sensational finish. I suspect these will age axtremely well...that is where the similarity with cuban women ends !! "
