Jose L Piedra was a very popular brand in the US prior to the embargo. The brand was resurrected in 1996 and has since found a following again. The tobacco for the Jose L Piedra cigars is grown in the Remedios region of Cuba. These strong cigars offer raw tobacco flavors and definitely need time to reach their best.
