TopCubans Past experience:I think this cigars limited availability makes it a very desired smoke among aficionados. Exploding with savoury flavors of spiced wood and exotic accents through the second and third tier, the main H.Uppman blend is present with medium to strong tobbacco flavors remaining dominant. Classic 'Old School' Havana taste, get it right here! |

Alex Bryant On 2011-08-05 " This is a lively cigar. Even tho it's not a .44 mag, I still felt like Dirty Hairy smoking it. Have this during a good conversation because it won't put you to sleep like others. "
PhilG On 2008-05-30 " juts managed to get hold of a 2006 box - with the old brown rings. they are superb! still the best corona gorda...if you exclude the Monte C, of course... "
Larry On 2006-10-06 " Just a great smoke. I smoked a Padron 1926 yesterday which costs twice as much. No comparison, the 46's smooth spice and wood reminded me why I prefer Cuban cigars. Warm cuban flavors. "
PhilG On 2006-07-21 " Had a few of these this summer...and I think they have become my new favourites in this calibre vs. the punch-Punch previously. The Magnum doesn;t offer as much spice as the Punch, but is smoother and earthier tasting. Siglo IV afficionados must be idiots to pay the Cohiba premium...which is clearly only a branding startegy! I highly recommend the Magnum 46 if you're looking for a the "true cuban taste" in a corona gorda. "
Nick On 2006-06-07 " A pleasant and interesting smoke that has plenty of subtlety. As with most quality cigars, could probably do with two or three years maturing to get achieve another dimension. "
Excalibur On 2006-02-02 " The only thing that kept this cigar from receiving a 5 was it's ability to stay lit. Otherwise, the taste & draw were perfect. Full bodied, spicy & comlex. Flavors consisted of black pepper acompanied by a sweet spiciness. One of my favorite cigars from Cuba. I'll let them age for a couple of months before enjoying the rest. "
W724y On 2005-06-13 " This is perhaps the best corona gorda I ever enjoyed. The taste is so complex that it really tickles your mouth with so many different spices. Worth having in your humidor and let it age for a few years if you can…. "
Bun lack On 2005-03-23 " is vry god "
4timer On 2005-03-10 " Just received a delivery from a batch dated Jun04. This is a sophisticated smoke, well constructed, volumes of flavor. I'm usually attracted to the powerhouses, but this has
Hockeyman On 2004-12-10 " Great cigar-incredible aroma-just a great Cuban "
Johnnyboy On 2004-11-25 " Looks like I've found another cigar to add to my short list of favorites! Exactly what I've been looking for in the corona gorda class: a dark and oily, medium to medium-full bodied, spicy little powerhouse. Great flavors and fantastic construction. And you're absolutely correct, Mr. A, they definitely make your mouth water! "
Cigardo On 2004-10-25 " Got a box of these today and the anticipation could not have been greater, exceeded only by the delivery of the cigar's appearance and monumental flavor that started out strong and grew more complex. I realized soon the cigar nirvana that a fine Cuban delivers, I get it. You should too, this may be equaled but how can it be bettered?
Mr.A On 2004-10-05 " This is an absolutely incredible smoke with hints of nutmeg, cinnammon which mingle loosely together with well-balanced undertones of spices. My mouth water everytime I look at this cigar. "
Northphilly On 2004-09-02 " "
Cohibaesplendidosrule On 2003-11-30 " This is a nice, mild smoke. The flavour is somewhat compromised by the mildness however, in its own right it delivers a solid taste and good burn. Smoke it with a smooth cognac to enhance the cigar. "
Mookster On 2003-11-25 " A really good starter cigar, smooth and sweet. Ideal earlier in the day with a beer or a mojito. Perhaps too mild to interest a seasoned smoker. "
DDM On 2003-09-24 " Bought a box 6 months ago, am still wondering how I could keep them for that long. "
Mr. A On 2003-09-11 " This is truly a wonderful cigar. Smoke it with a glass of tawny or vintage port and it will be an experience that you will not forget. "
Bgmc2000 On 2003-07-10 " An earthy corona gorda with undertones of coffee and tobacco. Nice, but I prefer a Punch or Hoyo " |
